I'm having some trouble getting VTWM to display the Open Window menu
I've defined in vtwm.cfg. Here is the relevant section:
menu "Openwin" {
"Open Window" f.title
"Big DOS" f.exec !"BD-PIF.DVP"
"little dos" f.exec !"Little.DVP"
"DOS 2048" f.exec !"DOS@.DVP"
"" f.nop
"AppMan" f.exec !"APPMAN.DVP"
"FileMan" f.exec !"FILEMAN.DVP"
"Help!" f.menu "Help"
"" f.nop
"Toolbox" f.menu "Toolbox"
"Telecomm" f.menu "Telecomm"
"DVSI 2.00" f.menu "DVSI"
"QWK Readers" f.menu "QWK"
"DOS Services" f.menu "DOS"
"Fun & Games" f.menu "Games"
"Misc" f.menu "Misc"
}
menu "defops" {
"VTWM" f.title
"Open Window" f.menu "Openwin"
"Kill" f.destroy
"Delete" f.delete
"" f.nop
"Iconify" f.iconify
"Resize" f.resize
"Move" f.move
"Raise" f.raise
"Lower" f.lower
"" f.nop
"Focus" f.focus
"Unfocus" f.unfocus
"Show Iconmgr" f.showiconmgr
"Hide Iconmgr" f.hideiconmgr
"" f.nop
"Show Desktop" f.showdesktopdisplay
"Hide Desktop" f.hidedesktopdisplay
"" f.nop
"Preferences" f.menu "Preferences"
"Edit VTWM.CFG" !"qedit c:\\dvx\\vtwm.cfg"
"Exit" f.quit
}
The submenus of "OpenWin" are defined earlier in the file. I've made
sure that all menus are defined before the menu off of which they
cascade. I've also tried commenting out the submenus off of "Openwin"
but it still does not show when I move the mouse to the widget at the
left edge of the menu entry for "Open Window" on "defops".
I've got the port of Vtwm 5.0 done by Philippe Weil (phweil@ulb.ac.be).
The default vtwm.cfg included in the .zip does work, but I can't see
anything wrong in comparison.
