ME>I am having some difficulty with DV/X in 1024*786 -256 video mode. ME>I works fine in in the lowest resolution video but after switching ME>to the highest, to take advantage of xv, I found that it would cause ME>video problems when I would bring up a program in a DOS window. ME>Procomm+ for instance, the intro screen would come up fine, but ME>when I would go into the terminal the window would split into three ME>parts. Other programs that did not mess up the video would just lock up ME>my computer. Any solutions that might be offered would be greatly ME>appreciated. ME>o Mother board: No Name 386/40 ME>o Video board: Orchid ProDesigner II / 1meg The ProComm problem is a known problem with no presently known solution, other than not running the 256-color server on the ET4000 chipset (which the ProDesigner uses) or not running ProComm, both of which are likely to be undesirable to you. Quarterdeck Support is aware of the problem and is looking at it. Configuring ProComm for a different video mode could conceivably help, but probably not. What were the other programs involved in the other problems (which I suspect are unrelated to the ProComm problem)?
