BE>I'm trying to write a piece of software to be DESQview aware (that's

BE>me right now), it doesn't seem to be forcing DV to timeslice properly.

BE>I have verified this by running the application within an OS/2 VDM
BE>running the OS2SPEED utility with the "*" command line parameter (this

BE>Could someone please _e-mail_ me the details of the API call specified

Applications typically do not force DESQview to timeslice; doing do
could impair the smoothness of multitasking in other windows.
Applications can relinquish their time slices to DESQview when they're
finished doing useful work, but I sense that might be a different
question from the one you're asking. Do you want to force DESQview to
slice so as to get it to pay immediate attention to your application, or
do you simply want your application to give up its slice? Either way,
the API Reference manual may be what you're looking for; it's available
