This weekend I was working with XV and DV/X.

When I tried to run XV from the command line with the -root option it killed the
DV/X server. (I was dropped back to the dos prompt)

I then tried to use one of the root setting under the Display Modes button, but
anytime I selected a root options XV and DV/X would die.

Does anyone have a fix for this or am I the only one with this problem?

I'm running DV/X in 1024x768 with 256 colors using a Tseng 4000 Local Bus board.
