That's a fine method. I believe path will hold 256 characters using
this method. Only problem is, if you try to append, or shorten the 
path after bootup. the path gets truncated back down to 128 
characters. This may not affect most people. It's just a word of 
Caution. 

The method I prefer is the addpath and delpath functions avaiable for
4DOS. At any time I can append or shorten the path by simply typing;
"addpath d:\newpath" or "delpath d:\oldpath". That comes on handy 
when you have executable files with identical names. I know this 
rarely happens, but it has happened to me.
