Choose from some of these...

ftp ftp.cdrom.com /pub/garbo/garbo_pc/security/
nuke111.lzh Nuke v1.11 erase files completely
wipe.zip Wipe (erase) files
wipevk11.zip Deletes files by overwriting them by V.Kolhinen

ftp ftp.cdrom.com /pub/simtel/msdos/dirutil/
exdel100.zip 22625 940719 Deletes files so UNDELETEs cannot recover them
nuke111.zip 11134 890630 Totally delete disk data, no chance to recover
wiper.zip 16480 911011 Remove a whole directory subtree in DOS & OS/2
wpr020.zip 16507 941125 Dir deleter, checks for root & can wipe files

ftp ftp.cdrom.com /pub/simtel/msdos/pcmag/
vol12n13.zip 93652 930827 PcMag: Find,ShutDn,WipeDe,MovChr,ShiftK,ExeLoo
vol12n15.zip 214361 930827 PcMag: BuildM,BuildW,DemoDl,Multi,Trash,BtnGo

ftp ftp.cdrom.com /pub/simtel/msdos/fileutil/
movewipe.zip 20622 861109 Move a file, overwrite deleted original

ftp ftp.cdrom.com /pub/simtel/msdos/diskutil/
clnfil23.zip 25898 910216 Wipes out sensitive data in unused file space
coverup1.zip 17408 910426 Erases unused sectors and tails of files
ess1.zip 66864 931114 3 DOS tools: 1Pass dskcopy/FastDskwipe/kbd dvr

Coverup1 is very thorough: it operates on the whole disk, wiping out all the
unallocated sectors and also the unused tails between <eof> and end-of-sector.
(I confirmed it on a floppy, using a sector edit to view coverup's handiwork.)

Caution: all above would have been written for use with uncompressed drives.
