Share Internal Error

I have two PCs getting this error on a seemingly random basis:

RSC: SFT not in SFT list
Share Internal Error

Both machines are networked on a peer-to-peer network much like Lantastic.
Share is started from autoexec.bat with /l:500 and /f:5100 parameters (these
were inserted after installing Word 4 Windows). The network software uses
share so it must be loaded.

Both machines are DX2/66 with 8Mb RAM. The problem usually occurs while
using a DOS program from within Windows, or shortly thereafter but I can't
confirm the connection since sometimes they just lock up or re-boot
themselves. I suspect these problems are related but of course I can't be
sure. In one of the machines I have replaced everything (mb, RAM, controller)
and formatted the HD yet the problem still occurs.

Does anyone have any pointers as to where I can look for the source of this
problem. There is *nothing* about share in the MS knowledgebase and I really
don't want to talk to a cluless support person after hanging on for ever only
to get nowhere (ie call MS).

thanks in advance

Felicity
