I'm only familiar with >LILO and I don't think it can boot DOS from a second drive. LILO Can boot dos from the 2nd drive. Ive done it. Requires the secondary boot loader 'any_d.b' which I think installs a 'wrapper' that lies to the DOS boot loader as it starts running off the disk. Works well. Trouble with LILO is I dont think you could install it, with out having a running Linux system first, so it wont help the orginal poster. But it IS possible to boot dos of the 2nd physical disk, if the boot loader on the 1st physical disk can be set up to do so. -- Matthew Geier, | Desolation Road Railfan BBS and Dialup Unix matthew@sleeper.apana.org.au | (+61) 2 588 4615 matthew@cs.usyd.edu.au | An APANA Sydney hub.
