DRDOS 6.0 vs. 6.01 for PRO, and "Import" (?)

I just got the economy version of DRDOS 6.0 from Surplus Software ($29 + $4 "S + H") and want to install it with PRO on a new laptop.[Unfortunately the economy DRDOS comes only on 3.5" discs and since you have to install it from your A drive, it won't go on my desktop]. Last year during part of the DRDOS discussion someone talked about a 6.01 version. If I communicate with DRDOS themselves, what should I ask for? If I don't get it how will I know, when I run PRO? A further question has to do with all the wonderful customizations, icons, etc. that I have installed on my 1.2. In order to carry these over to PRO, what files or folders should I transfer? As a further note on PRO, in a recent more private discussion on converting pictures to GW backgrounds, the necessity of using "import" into a Scrapbook file was mentioned. I went a little nuts trying to find "Import" in all the folders, buttons, and icons, until I realized that this function does NOT exist in the Scrapbook in 1.2. It is only in PRO. You've been warned. Jeff

BTW I am using 1.2, not PRO. Side question - how much does the upgrade to PRO cost, does anyone think it is worth it or should I just wait for V2.0? don

If I Jeff> don't get it how will I know, when I run PRO? Call up DR and sak for the latest "update". When I called they denied anything called 6.01, but admitted there were newer versions. I think the latest is 4/92 but 12/91 is what I think you need to interface with GeoWorks correctly. Btw, when you call you can sak them to change the media. I, too, bout it on 3.5", but I called to get the new update and asked for 5.25". No problem. -- Michael D.
