I've used the past few versions of SuperStor (1.3G, 1.3H, 1.3I, and 2.0)
without significant problems.  The compression algorithm works fine with
one major exception--it can't be used on the disk that contains a Windows
swapfile.  To overcome this shortfall, I currently "compress" only the
'D:' partition of my drive and leave critical files such as DOS/other 
utilities and my swapfile on the 'C:' drive.  

I currently store and run Borland C++, Paradox, Quattro, and a host of 
other programs from the "compressed" drive--which is currently compressed
at a 1.8:1 ratio.
