cd2a+@andrew.cmu.edu (Court Demas) writes: : : When you close a project and then come back to it later, the : numbering of the windows is different at least half of the time. [deleted] : It may not seem like a big deal, but it's really convenient to have window : 1 always the Project windows, 2 for messages, 3 for watch - just so I don't : have to go looking around all the time. : : Does anybody else have this problem? Yes I do and it _IS_ annoying. It seems to be based on the order of the windows stack. i.e. if the project window was on top when you exited or went to DOS, the project window will be number when when you come back. I don't actually have a solution but wondered if you had noticed this. The other thing I have noticed it that there is a menu selection specially for the Project and for messages but they only sometimes get used. i.e. mostly they are greyed out and the messages and project entries are just part of the normal window list. If anyone does have a solution, please cc: me on the note.
