Sorry about the misleading subject line in my previous posting. I am
interested in various screen text mode. The one that haunts me now for
weeks is norton's (??) trick of getting 35 lines on EGA and 40 lines
on VGA. This mode is surprisingly readable, although it gives you
extra more lines.

What I know is that this mode can be achieved by installing a text font of 10x8.
However, this text font is not in the program code  (I looked very throughly
for it) and I could not find any trace to a bios resident such font.


Any help will be greatly apprecciated.
