Can anyone suggest a book to help me understand the memory structure of the intel chips? I need to understand near and far pointers and offsets and whatnot as used in C. (I'm not an assembly language programmer, so I'd appreciate something that I'll be able to understand.) Oh for the sake of a flat address space..... -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Jared L. Nedzel nedzel@cive.stanford.edu jln@portia.stanford.edu
