(A lot of people mailed me their thank-you's for posting the SoundBlaster
programming summary, so hopefully some kind soul will return my favour. :-)
Can anyone point me to ASM/C source code fragments, routines, functions
or (hopefully) libraries which will give me basic control of primitive
joystick functions via the standard game port?
I'd like to implement joystick support in a game I'm currently writing in
Borland C, and all I really need to do is detect/initialize the joystick,
and read the (x,y) position and button states. Anything extra would simply
be icing on the cake. :-)
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me (or post it if
you like), and I'll post a summary if enough information gets sent to me.
Thanks,
