After talking with Borland Tech Support for over an hour (+ 1/2 hour on hold) yesterday trying all the basic tech support things, I think I have uncovered a BC++ 3.1 debugger bug. Both the IDE and TD are displaying the wrong symbol names for procedures in both the CPU window, Stack window, and other places. However the source code displayed is proper and when asked to Goto a particular symbol it goes to the right place but still shows the wrong label if in CPU window. The source window is affected by this all. The symbol names displayed are always for the procedure previous to the one desired. Has anyone else seen this bug? If there is some work around I would love to know what it is. While this bug is not crippling it is very annoying. Gregg -- W. Gregg Stefancik wstef@hubcap.clemson.edu
