LL> I'm thinking of buying a machine with preinstalled DRDOS 6.0 and
LL> my question is:
LL> * What is the difference between MSDOS and DRDOS?
LL> * Is DRDOS fully compatible with MSDOS?
LL> * Are there any advantages/disadvantage with DRDOS compared to MSDO
Go ahead and get DR-DOS, you won't regret it. It is fully MS-DOS
compatible and has many many more features that makes MS-DOS pale in
comparison.
Most internal and external commands familiar to an MS-DOS user are
enhanced in DR-DOS. And there are additional commands which makes life
easier.
