I am looking for assistance with creating a text Window using BIOS calls. Basically, I want to display a status line at the top of the screen, and have whatever text is below this display as normal and never wipe out the top status line. As I understand it, I could trap INT 29 and make a routine to handle some of the above. Does anyone have information or code (in C or assembly) regarding this? This is on a 286 system running DOS 5.0. Any assistance would be appreciated.
