If you can direct me to further information, or would choose to elaborate yourself, on the following question, I would greatly appreciate it.. I'm just a hobbyist programmer, and I'm attempting to write a simple BBS. What I need to know is what kind of data structure I should use to keep track of the messages in the msg. bases. I'd like to have something that would keep track of whether EACH user has read the msg., and it should be fast. I can do the general stuff (deleted flags, anonymous, from/to fields, etc.). All I need to know is how I should go about keeping track of which users have read each msg. Thanks. -- Chad Helfenberger (chelf@lunatix.uucp)
