What I see in Microsofts replies is that they don't care about the student population of the world AT ALL. They won't even give us tech support (except through CI$). The main reason that I have Microsoft C++ is for compatibility with other people (I can compile their code). Watcom claims to have a Microsoft compatible library; maybe I should switch to them. Or find/write a MS-Compatible library for Borland C++ (STILL my favoite MS-DOS compiler). -- Dan Odom Kansas State University danodom@matt.ksu.ksu.edu Member of the League for Programming Freedom; mail lpf@uunet.uu.net
