An application that I am working on in Borland C++ does not run from the
DOS prompt on some machines. It locks up during its initialization stage.
If it is run from the DOS 5.0 Shell or from a Windows DOS shell, it works
fine. The executable is about 130K compiled under the compact model.
Is this an easy problem to solve? I really have no idea where to look. The
machine that I am programming on never has this problem, although I cannot
run the same program from within a batch file on still other machines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jim Jarrett
