A collegue at work is going to be doing some programming (in C) to handle incoming data. I would appreciate some references I could pass on to him. He's going to have a regular program doing other things but when some new data comes in he wants to process it. I had done some of this in a microprocessor interfacing class in college - every time data from an A/D came in, an interrupt was triggered which went off and did its thing - so I think this is how it would be handled. -David
