     I'd like to emphasize the fact that the WATCOM C/C++^32 compiler
DOES NOT HAVE an IDE interface.

     I really like the WATCOM compiler, and recommend it to others (I
find them VERY responsive at fixing any bugs), but some people will be
turned off by the fact that it does not have an integrated development
environment.  Everything is done via the command line or Makefiles.
Unix people who want to port to DOS may love this compiler.  DOS people
who are used to things like Borland's IDE may hate it.  WATCOM is
supposedly working on an IDE, but I have no idea when it'll be
available.

     However, the WATCOM compiler does supposedly integrate into the
OS/2 workbench (for those people who use OS/2).
