if you could just look at it, it contains more stuff and additional
development stuff.

 PC-DOS, Free DOS, DR-DOS. Of course there sis more, but I dont remember.

Dont mention Redhat. It is IMHO just for a "personal computer OS which has
only IDE disks and lots of memory".

No thanks, I have tried this and it has no use for such a fan like me
under the extreme situations. For embedded systems, what I am developing,
the DOS is unreplaceable, becouse...

...it has very small footprint.
...easy development.
...keeps hardware costs low comparing with other OSes.

something more comes in my mind, but... I prefer using DOS even on this
machine: AMD K6-2 500MHz, 128MB RAM, 36GB HDD Ultra160SCSI. :))))
