Does anyone know of a nice, little set of routines that will give me the
functionality of roughly CONIO.H (or at the very least, STDIO.H) for
a monochrome screen?

I have an application running on VGA, but I'd like to add support for
a secondary status monitor (monochrome) at the same time.
