Divide error (memory problem ?) starting TC (Turbo C++)

Hello,

last time i can not start the TURBO C++ IDE (TC) on my PENTIUM 233
computer.

The error message reported sometihing with DIVIDE ERROR (memory
problem), the error message is in dutch so i think it came from DOS
6.2 since i use MS DOS 6.2 dutch.

I wonder if this is a stack problem or something like that and how can
i resolve this.

I am not sure but maybe the problem occurs after i have made and run
the following COM program using the MSDOS DEBUG:

               POP DS
               MOV Wo[472],0
JMP FFFF:0 ;perform a cold boot

Could it be that the MOV statement is doing something wrong on
my computer ? Or is the reason of the problem with TC another
one (invalid project file ?)

The TURBO C+++ i am using is still an old version, the so called
SECOND EDITION (no version number, it is from 1991).

Thanks for any response,
Irwan Aranya
