NDS and WAN Links

We currently have a 12-server, 400-user 3.12 WAN at our establishment. Three
of the servers are at the central site and 9 at remote sites. To link the
remote servers, we have 1 T1, 3 ISDN, and 5 56K lines. We're considering
upgrading the whole works to 4.1.

I purusing these NG's, I've found some discussion of NDS Synchro Traffic. I
know that, in my current installation, I have to deal with RIP and SAP traffic
and this has not been a problem so far. My question is, will my slower links
still be able to provide reliable performance after an upgrade to 4.1, or will
the NDS Synchro Traffic require me to upgrade my links.

Thanks in advance for the info.
