A 50GB disk array is used with a Netware 3.12 server. However, the server takes a long time to mount the disk during the startup - approximately 20 minutes. How can I speed up the mounting? I know that it does a consistency check on the two sets of directory table and FATs to verify that the two copies are identical. Even though I do not believe this is the major factor in its slowness, can it be turned off? Are there any other factors I should be aware of, and can those be turned off too? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. -- Wan Yik Lee -- Organization: University of Texas at Austin
