Word, Windows NT WS and Netware 3.12

Hi!

We are running some Windows NT workstations (3.51SP5 and 4.0SP3) in our
Novell Netware 3.12 environment.

The problem is, that some applications, in special Winword 6.0a, get in
trouble with the drive letters of the network disk devices.

An example:
I open a word-document from drive L:\path\file.doc, wich is drive KAE03 on
the Netware server KAECHELE.
After I have closed it, I find in the FILE-menu the last four opened files.
There stands G:\path\file.doc, wich would be drive KAE05 on the same
server, and when I try to open it from the menu, word reports, that the
file could not be located.

That wouldn't be *that* serious, but there are a lot of more cases, where
some things just do not work. (i.e. insert a symbol with a link to a word
document on drive L:)

Does anybody know something about this problem? Any solutions?
I tried MS Netware Client and Netware Client32 for IntranetWare.
