File Handle changes with Client 32 3.01/3.02 Help!

I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced any problems with file
handles with Novell Client 3.01 and 3.02.

I am running a multi-user dos based program which crashed with file handles
in config.sys of the workstation is greater than files=230.

This was not a problem with client 2.2 and 2.5 where files=240 was always
the standard setting.

Is anyone aware of any changes in Client 3.01 and 3.02.

Regards,

This will always be a problem since file handles are shared with windows
and can't be greater than 255 total. The DOS program is severely flawed
if it needs more than a 100 or so.

You can try the "Extended file handle" support or some such setting in
the client 32 advanced settings. This supports more than 255 but only
for programs written to use it.
