We are planning to put in an IPX to IP gateway this year and we have decided on the Iware Connect product from Quarterdeck. However, Intranetware 4.11 comes with its own IPX/IP gateway. Has anyone compared the two? Is Novell's "ready for prime time", or is it missing management features and other things that can be found in Iware Connect? Thanks for any help. Novell's IPX/IP Gateway *is* ready for prime time, and it's integrated with NDS to allow you to configure IP access features via NDS. Better yet, it uses Novell's 32-bit client, which is flat out missing in the IWare product at this time. Since it's 32-bit, you can use 32-bit software with it on Win 95 and Win NT workstations, which is not possible with the IWare Connect product. (To be fair, Quarterdeck has recently announced a beta of their new 32-bit version. I will be checking it out eventually.) -- ================================================================ Roger Kresge, Master CNE/CNI, MCP rkresge@web.iis-centpa.com Consulting Engineer CompuServe: 71023,447 Inacom Information Systems Lancaster, PA Corporate: rkresge@inacom.com ================================================================

Up to my knowledge there is no IPXGW support for NT, which is a real shortcoming. Achim
