Decker in a 1990 essay "Necessary Perfection" > =============================================================================== I am experiencing the same problem Kelvin is. Windows 95 workstations running Client32 connected to a NetWare 3.11 server on a Token-Ring network. All systems are experiencing the same problem - locking up when creating new files/directories on the file server. In addition, they will periodically reboot when sending mail and meeting requests from MS Mail and Schedule+. I have tried reinstalling and applying all known patches for Windows 95 and the 2.11 version of Client32. The problem persists. We are preparing to upgrade to IntraNetware (NW 4.11) in hope of improving the situation. I would consider tossing Client32 (no lockups with the MS client), but our membership system vendor only supports this configuration. It is encouraging to see that I'm not the only one with this problem. It would be more encouraging if I could get some real guidance on this from Novell or Microsoft. Neither one seems to have heard of the problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thom McGraw Michigan Association of REALTORS 720 North Washington Lansing, MI 48906 (517) 372-8890
