We have pcAnywhere running on the DOS/Windows 3.1 machines on our Novell 3.12
net at work.

The old 16 bit pcAnywhere allows you to load the host program from the
command line or in the autoexec.bat as a TSR. Most users won't even know it
is there.

The new 32 bit version will connect to the old version just fine.

Depending upon your needs there is a new system which I have been trying to
get more information on called Citrix. It uses a Win NT server to accept
multiple connections into a Novell 3.12 net. If you have a lot of remote
dial-ins this might be of interest. pcAnywhere requires a dedicated machine
at the host site. Do the users need their workstation specifically, or just
access to the network files?
