I don't know the cause of your problem but I do know that you are not
using the latest ARCSERVE.NLM, which is Build 45.014 (5/13/96).
That's what it is on our machine.  Go to:
http://www.cheyenne.com/CheyTech/Download/patches/techptch.html#as6

and get all the latest patches for ARCserve.  Also, note that the
Service Pak was just released this week, which might have further
fixes.  Good luck!
