I think I've seen references to this in the past but they have all expired from our news server! I've got a Seagate ST32550N 2Gb SCSI drive on an Adaptec 2940 thats deactivating. I've upgraded the controller BIOS from v1.11 to v1.16 but the problem remains. Is there a utility that I can use to probe the drive's firmware paramaters? This combination worked with the old ST12550N drives. What's changed?
