Hello folks,
I am having a bit of a problem with Netware 4.1 and Macs -- specifically
having to do with writing on the Mac volume.
Whenever I write to my Mac volume, the following message appears on the file
server console (accompanied by a lovely beep) for as long as the write is in
progress:
8-16-95 2:20:53 pm: AFP-4.10-16
Unrecoverable Btreieve error 2 from operation 2 on desktop database,
rebuild needed on volume IMT.MAC.
Using the Dayna rebuilder also triggers this problem -- but, presumably,
rebuilds the desktop.
The Mac volume was copied from another (v3.11) file server, me hoping that I
won't have to reinstall all the apps.
4.1 was installed as a new installation. I haven't applied any patches --
other than login.exe.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
