Doesn't mercury have admin rights when running on the server? At least
we could explicitly allow browsing the "Foreign Email Address"
property which is in fact made for this.

In my case I only run into problems because 1) I mustn't have login
names as mail addresses (because in germany, at least at our
university, we have standard addresses like
Thomas.Riehm@verwaltung.uni-muenchen.de), and 2) our contexts are
named from a technical point of view so our users would never know why
the hell they are where they are.
But thank you anyway for the response!
(I thought that problem had occurred more often than it seems).
