I've got....

	Windoze 95 (4.00.950a)
	Novell Netware 4.1

Network Configuration is:

	Client for Microsoft Networks
	Novell Netware Client 32
3COM EtherLink III ISA (3C509b-Combo) in PnP mode
	Dial-Up Adapter
IPX 32-bit Protocol for Novell Netware Client 32 ->
3COM EtherLink III ISA (3C509b-Combo) in PnP mode
	TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter

My problem is this. Every time I try to run NWADMIN I get a nice
friendly and very helpful message:

"A device attaced to the system is not functioning"

If I try again I get

Dynamic link library ******.DLL cannot be located or is
corrupted. Your Path variable is invalid or your DLLs
	were not installed correctly.

Where ******.DLL varies but seems to have an affinity for OWL31.DLL.
If I try again I get a message telling me that NWADMIN had caused a
GPF in USER.EXE. After this I just keep getting GPFs in OWL31.DLL.

NWADMIN always used to be a bit cheezy, even with Windows 3.11, so I
overlooked the odd crash. I was off work for a week and when I came
back it was doing it all the time. Plus all my other apps are
behaving the same way.

So..

What the hell is going on?

and...

How the hell do I fix it.

I just checked and it all works with Windows 3.11. Things also work
on a laptop which runs Win95 and also has a 3COM 3c509 interface.

If it helps my machine is...

	P166 w32Mb RAM
	ATIMach64 Graphics
	Internal Modem
	Vibra16 Sound Card
	Adaptec AHA-2940 SCSI
	3COM 3C509-Combo NIC
