Patch 410pt7
#41

Hello all,
I installed the 410pt7 on two 4.1 servers using the Install.nlm method, 2
questions:

1) The install left the #6 patches in the Autoexec.ncf, so every time the
server boots, there is a list of 'Skipped, already loaded' messages displayed.
Is it supposed to do that, or can I REM out the #6 loading in the
Autoexec.ncf?

2) I have a Hayes Driver NLM (for their high speed serial board) that now
abends the server when trying to load. Hayes has no new driver. I'm using
Novell's Aiocomx.nlm until I find a solution. This limits me to 2400bps on my
GroupWise Gateway connections. I'm considering droppiong back to the #6
patches un	til a solution is found. So, the question: can I just
re-install the 410pt6.exe and be back to where I was or is this going to screw
up Server.exe?

All thoughts appreciated.

Boy does that sound unfun! You can definitely rem out the offending lines,
if you don't just save the current file and then create a new one...

This is where everyone hopes you made a backup before applying the patch.

My GUESS is that you could remove the lines calling for the new 410pt7 files,
and you would be back...

don't reinstall #6, that will just mess it up more...

No, it doesn't remove the 410pt6 files or commands. Simply REM these from
the STARTUP.NCF

It sounds like you have an old AIO or AIOCOMX. I have experienced similar
problems, and they were due to older AIO/AIOCOMX files.
