$How about the 3.12 counterpart ? Does it support additive licenses ?
No. No version prior to 4.10 supports additive licenses.
$The license file from Chenyenne ArcServe is quite restrited, too. If
$the ArcServe license file is for 5-user, it will not run on a server
$that is not exactly 5-user licensed, no more and no less. Is that
$reasonable ?
I try to avoid ARCserve, but back in the ARCserve 4.x days, at
least, you were fine as long as the license count on your server
did not exceed that of ARCserve. So if you really wanted to,
you could buy a 250-user copy of ARCserve and run it on a
5-user server.
