Please give me some response on this scenario:

Prior to a major migration from one NOS to another in an organization I
would like every step to be reversible.

One of the steps I will be involved in is the total shutdown of an entire
Novell Intranetware network. And here is my major concern:

Is it possible to make a "Disaster Recovery Readiness" backup of a server. I
know all the basics but what exactly is reguired to do this.

Im going to do this: Bring down the server. Totally destroy the disks
(Install a NT server with whatever is nessesary from our plan) on the same
machine and bring it up again. What if any tool would I need to do this:
Boot from a disk and totally restore the previous IntranetWare server from
tape ?

Is it possible ?
(My basic tools would be the full Connection Library + Arcserver)

As responsible for saying if I can do that, i feel somewhat weary - and
frankly i don't think that it would be possible in the event that the entire
dos based system is gone.

Please give me some response.
