What a stupid decision for IBM >to release the US version to us here! Well not all of us Yanks speak like yanks. Try to get the standard US version to understand Midwestern Scots with a broad accent. The mic does not pick up the near silent vowels and syllables. Then all the other idiosyncrasy. Want to start a war....come to Missouri and ask for the proper pronuonciation of the name. It took my mother 20 years before she could here the secound syllable when we all talked about a barrow pit, all she could hear was "bar pit". It may take that long or longer to get the program to hear suck. Well so much for standardizd Yank. "The law may permit what honor does not." --Deacon Michael bs976@freenet.toronto.on.ca
