Fair enough.  I can't argue with what you say (and I shall trust
every word is true <g>).  Those would be handy benefits.  But I
still think the OS is far and away the major part of a machine's
"friendliness", assuming the hardware isn't a total microsoftie,
of course -- sow's ears, silk purses, 'n' that. <g>
