Since IBM is under contract with a major customer to continue to develop OS/2 for at least ten years, I would worry more about the future for any new Windows development. With changes from Windows 1.1 to 2.0 to 2.1 and so on demanding a major rewrite every time, the traks do seem a bit scary. And it is noteworthy that the Netscape announcement of 4.0 for OS/2 claimed it would have extra features and functionality not possible on other platforms. This looks like the first time a major actor will offer a real OS/2 product which will also be available for Windows but with reduced functionality.
