They do not make scanner drivers for OS/2 either, but their scanner works
great with OS/2, _if_ you get 3rd party drivers. And that is the point of this
FAQ, -to get the HP ScanJet 3C/4C to work with OS/2.

On the other hand, what has lack of printer drivers to do with HP
scanners...?:-)
