Hello all, I recently purchased a copy of Describe 5.0 and am trying to install it on my computer. It installed OK under win98 but it is refudsing to install under os/2. It keeps giving me a message that : This installation can only be run from the DeScribe CD-ROM and the CD drive must be a local drive on your workstation. I'm running a P2 400 with 192 mb RAM and os/2 warp4 with fp14 installed. The CD drive (G:) is a generic 40x which is set up as slave to the secondary HD. CAn anyone give me any clues as to why this is happening and what cures I might be able to effect? TIA Andrew Hood

Hi Andrew: It should work, but you could try moving the directory onto your hard drive. Better yet, get a later OS/2 version (5.0.6) at: ftp://24.2.168.186/pub/os2/apps/descb506.zip baden In <lIMw8fdxdE1w-pn2-dxCJVxyg07tP@localhost>, hoodtoo@iprimus.com.au writes: >Hello all, > >I recently purchased a copy of Describe 5.0 and am trying to install >it on my computer.
