Can anyone advise cause and cure for problem on Lotus Notes Mail
which generates an Error SYS3171 that freezes the application altogether?
Rest of error message reads:
	Exception c0000005 at 112da77d
	Due to insufficient stack space, the exception was not despatched.
	The process was terminated inotes.dll 005e:0000a77d....
	etc.

I have already reloaded Notes Mail from CD, then done the uincremental
upgrade to Notes 4.11a. Unfortunately subsequent incremental upgrades 
failed with message to the effect that the upgrade programme could not
detect the Version/level of Notes installed.

Any advice wuld be appreciated since Lotus are not providing support for this
"free" product.

I am running 4.14. I use the incremental installer without problems. Have you
had any version of Notes running before you upgrade?
