OEM software usually (if not always) require you to purchase a machine in
order to get it... And what good does your pricing list do? It does not say
it is R1 or R2...
>Now where is OS/2 on this list??
Big deal, I'm not in your area, and I don't buy software from the stores...
Three reasons.
#1: Dumbass salesman.
#2: Stupid price and markup.
#3: Dumbass faux-technician.

What facts are YOU trying to correct? All I'm saying is that M$ don't allow
you to upgrade to W95 OSR2 without having to purchase a machine to go with
it... If you can not look into an mail order or online catalog to find OS/2
software, and just sit there and wait... You'd only have yourself to blame.

>What is Team OS/2???
It meant just that. Team OS/2.
>I mean I put my name down about 2 years ago on the
>Team OS/2 web site
The site was down due to a hacker attacking the ISP, someone else had picked
up and started to rebuilt the Team OS/2 web site from the ground up.
>but what do you guys actually do,
Promote and Support OS/2, PERIOD.
>I mean reading a lot
>of the posts in this lists you kinda support the product, but the greater

>little bagging of 95 be more beneficial don't you think.
Go ahead and count the ratio... Either you are pull this out of thin air or
your news server is filtering out all the OS/2 posts.
>Anyway, that is
>just my 2c, take it or leave it.
Personally, I'd throw it back in your face. You tried to attack me with this
message, while sidestepping the main problem in my message... I guess my
last message hurt your M$ sponsors... Muhahahaha...
>Personally I will continue to support
>OS/2 (with no support from here) and continue to support 95 just as I
>always have.
Go ahead and check Fidonet OS/2 and OS/2 Hardware echo, and check several
OS/2 mailing list and news groups... *I* and MANY other OS/2 users have been
actively promoting OS/2 AND support any users who might have a technical
question/problem need to be sloved.
IMHO, you are either pretty dang new to this area, or you just can't read
all the OS/2 support and help messages.
