DON'T. I REPEAT, DON'T. UNLESS IBM TELLS YOU TO.

FP21 is a private fix. It has _not_ passed testing for general use.
It has _not_ been released to the public. There are known problems
in it. IBM may instruct specific people, having specific problems on
specific hardware/software configurations, to try it. Nobody else
should. If you do, you're entirely on your own; if IBM didn't tell you
to try it, you aren't supported when using it.

I strongly advise that:

* If you have a serious known bug, call IBM and ask them whether there's
a fix for it. If FP21 is the right thing for you, they'll tell you.

* If you're OK for now, _wait_ for the next public fixpak. It shouldn't be
too much longer unless something odd happens during testing.

Since this was posted to alt.org.team-os2: One bit of service we can all
do for the Team is to explain to other OS/2 users the difference between
public and private fixes, and why distributing a private fix is generally
a Bad Idea. Remember, if IBM really trusted it, it would have been made
a public fix and announced as such... private fixes are generally of the
"well, since you're already in trouble, this probably won't make it worse
and might help" variety.
