Well, after some more playing around, I'm beginning to believe
that OS/2 is having trouble dealing with the motherboard based
SCSI controller (Adaptec AIC6360 type). I even tried to configure
the driver for the proper base address and interrupt (which are
reported by the BIOS under DOS), but to no avail (the AHA152x
driver).
I've gotten some responses to my previous message, but no one
could really offer concrete help for my setup which is:
Zeos Pantera-90
Phoenix 4.03 BIOS revision -11
16MB memory
Quantum 1GB SCSI drive (no IDE drives!)
Mistsumi CD-ROM
Diamond Stealth-64 PCI Video Adapter
The install of Warp Beta-II worked up to the last reboot and
the machine now hangs after displaying the OS/2 logos and loading
just about all the drivers... Is there a better way to debug this
whole thing? It's beginning to drive me batty...
Thanks,
-Eric

Well, I finally got the problem installing the OS/2 Warp BetaII
solved. Thanks to Rob McGehee "rbm@faser.cs.olemiss.edu" for the
answer. It turns out that replacing the Adaptec AHA152X.ADD driver
from the Warp Beta-II with one from the regular 2.1 distribution
solved the problem. The new driver is screwed up somehow...
Anyone know if this is fixed in the Gamma or release OS?
