When I was using SIO, he got a hangup the instant I attempted to transmit or receive any data. This USR modem uses a DSP. I'm of the opinion that perhaps USR's DSP is not entirely compatible with OS/2. On my own system, I use a Hayes 28.8, which works perfectly. Frustrating.
